<h1>New content & preliminary information about September</h1>
Happy Leap Day,<br><br>
Our classroom resource creators, question generator developers and exam question editors have been hard at work adding a large amount of new content. It's been great for me to get stuck in myself, making slide decks for the International Baccalaureate (and a full suite of IB resources by September); my first new resources in a number of years! See below for a list of new published resources.<br><br>
We've also been hard at work on 'Dr Frost 6', which will be easier to navigate, have a new user interface, have new task types (including 'follow up tasks'). The most significant change is basing the platform more heavily around 'courses', so you can better personalise the site for teachers and students at your school based on your country/exam specs/age range. Thank you to the freelance team who have been typing up specs from around the world and mapping to our new DF Index, as well as a separate team reclassifying all 40,000 of our exam questions to redistribute them over the DF Index.
<h2>A note about subscriptions from September</h2>
We know that many schools will soon be thinking about budgets for the 2024-2025 school year
and wanted to provide some brief information on what subscriptions will look like for Dr Frost next year. Much is staying the same, including:
<ul>
<li>Independent student users will continue to be free as well as a single teacher with
up to three classes per school</li>
<li>Our annual cost will remain the same, £600 per year for schools</li>
<li>Our core lesson slides will remain free</li>
</ul>
There will be a change to the way that schools apply a discount to their subscription. Additional information about exactly how that will work will be included in our March newsletter.
<h2>More question generator programmers wanted</h2>
We're always on the lookout for teachers with programming skills who can join our freelance team of 12. We use PHP and the Desmos API, but we don't require any prior experience in either of these, but instead a talent and creativity for producing world-class question generators. We pay £50/hr for the first 20 hours each month and £40/hr thereafter. If you are interested, please email <a href='mailto:

<h2>More New Resources on Dr Frost Learning!</h2>
Thank you all so much for the continued support downloading and using all of our new resources. The Resource Team have been continuing their hard work this month.<br><br>
<img src='https://drfrost.org/docs/newsletterimages/resource-28022024.png' style='max-width:80%'><br><br>
We began February with the release of resources made in collaboration with the Royal Meteorological Society (RMetS). These lessons were designed to improve climate literacy across the curriculum by interweaving climate focused questions into appropriate topics. You can find these resources covering various algebra topics here, and more will be released as the year progresses.<br>
These and all the other resources that we have published this month are:<br><br>

We are also lucky enough to be expanding our wonderful resource team - a huge thank you to those of you that applied. It was a very crowded field, with only a few spots, and we’d like to <strong>welcome Rhiannon, Liam and Jasmine to the team</a>! <br><br>
Keep an eye out for even more resources to come from the new recruits and the rest of the team.
