One teacher's mission to help his students has become a charity building mathematical confidence and improving life chances for students everywhere.
Dr Jamie Frost
Founder & Chief Mathematician
Dr Jamie Frost's journey to creating Dr Frost Maths began in the Al labs at Oxford University. After winning the Microsoft Research Prize, completing his PhD in Artificial Intelligence and coding trading algorithms for investment banking, he discovered his true calling in the classroom.
Over 10 years of teaching, Jamie's resources have been downloaded over 20 million times, with students answering over 800 million questions on the platform. His work has earned him a Gold Pearson Teaching Prize, a place in the Global Teacher Prize Top 10, and appearances on BBC2's Britain's Classroom Heroes.
When COVID-19 struck, Jamie's dedication to supporting the education community earned him the Global Teacher Prize Covid Hero Award. What started as one teacher's mission has become a platform transforming mathematical confidence worldwide.
To serve as a trusted partner in maths education, working to create a future where every student feels capable in maths, every teacher loves teaching it, and all can succeed regardless of backgrounds and school circumstances.
We are a dedicated team of maths teachers, product specialists, developers and designers. Some of us have taught in classrooms, others have built technology platforms, but we're united by the belief that everyone deserves access to quality maths education that builds confidence and changes lives.
We're grateful to work alongside organisations that share our commitment to excellent mathematics education.
We are proud partners of the following exam boards. We hold the license to provide interactive digital versions of past public papers.
